The Fresh Production Area of their facility required an urgent upgrade to comply with food health and safety regulations. Our team was tasked with this project, which involved upgrading the area’s flooring with a heavy-duty polyurethane cement flooring and replacing the worn-out drainage. Upon completion, all expansion joints were cut and sealed using Sikaflex 11FC Structural Joint Sealant. The upgrade was scheduled over a typical weekend shutdown period, and we ensured that the project was completed within 36 hours. This approach was excellent for the client as it meant that their production could continue with minimal interruption. The upgraded area now provides a premium, heavy-duty, non-slip surface that meets all food health and safety.
