The before and after illustration below is of a project we completed at a large bakery in Sydney.
The risks in the ‘before’ image are obvious; water leakage, stagnation leading to growth of bacteria and a slippery walking surface.
However, the second image is completely compliant to Australia’s Food Safety Standards & WHS legislation as the new bund is highly visible, the water has no means of escape and the area is skillfully constructed so the liquids are drained effectively.
