Holistically-Designed Flooring Solutions
A holistically-designed flooring solution in the food manufacturing sector is one that has been thoroughly thought out by a consultant, designed by an engineer, and built by skilled workman. There’s no one-size fits all when it comes to a holistically-designed floor. It’s a recommended solution based on your needs, and your requirements, all complying to food safety standards, and completed within the specified timeframe. Let’s take a look at what a holistically-designed floor might involve.
The design:
When conducting the initial onsite visit, our consultants will not only look at how the existing floor is performing, but will analyse the design of the floor in terms of water falling to drainage efficiently, the activities taking place in the room, the shoes/boots worn in the area, and other factors to get a full grasp of the flooring requirements.
Taking Responsibility:
A large part of our holistically-designed flooring solutions is taking responsibility. Working in the Food Manufacturing industry, we understand the difficulty in managing multiple contractors for one project. As outlined above, there are several aspects that need to be coordinated for a flooring project, such as drainage, chequerplate paneling, coving and other features. To ensure the responsibility is ours, we have a suite of fully trained and qualified people who work with us to provide all of these services. We dedicate a project manager to each project, so you will have one point of contact for everything related to the project.
What a holistically-designed floor may involve:
As mentioned earlier, there is no one-size-fits-all in projects for food manufacturing facilities. However, there are many standard items that our flooring solutions involve. Please go to our Complete Flooring Projects page to learn more.
