LARGE BEVERAGE FACILITY
Client:
Beverage Facility
Location:
Western Sydney, NSW
Scope Overview
This project involved over 560sqm of flooring, which needed to be upgraded to Food Safety regulations, as well as enhancing the area aesthetically.
Project Description
This large beverage manufacturing facility has been operating for decades in an old building. When the facility was first repurposed for beverage manufacturing several decades ago, pavers were the recommended flooring due to their durability. However, with the rise of stricter Food Safety regulations in recent years, pavers are no longer considered an ideal flooring solution. Instead, epoxies and polyurethane cements have become the preferred choices. Since 2019, this company has been a customer of Allied Finishes, upgrading their flooring by removing the old pavers and installing our SteriFloor Stärke system. This system is recommended for its antimicrobial properties, fast-curing nature, and suitability for high-wear environments.
