Extensive preparation in recreating the stairs, from a curved edge with grate below, to a sharp, much safer step.
The purpose of this project was to upgrade the area for compliance to Food Health regulations, and also for the safety of the production staff. This production area had a raised base for machinery, with a worn, dangerous step leading up to it. Below the step was a grate, which was no longer required. The project also involved filling in of machine leg bases, to stop water from entering them and making it difficult to clean.
This project had to be completed over a short weekend period, in time for production on Monday. The images show the progress shots of the project.
