Create a flooring solution for a large, busy commercial bakery.

Removed all existing flooring, including excessive oils and acids that had come through the substrate, and installed our flooring solution.

Project Information

The client was after a slip resistant, easy to clean, light blue floor. Having previously worked with Allied Finishes, this client knew they could rely on us for a durable, non-slip floor that would not fail.

This project involved removing a significant amount of failing floor, preparing the base thoroughly, then application of our custom-made flooring solution. This system is a fast, food-safe solution with significant benefits to the customer.

Challenges

Removing the existing substrate proved difficult, as it was old, and contained a lot of oils and acids from many years of use.
A large area had to be completed over a short period of time, in order for Baker’s Maison to resume work the following day.

Results

As with all our projects at Baker’s Maison, the client was very impressed with the project. In creating custom-made solutions, this customer knows Allied Finishes will find and develop the right solution for their needs.

We are very happy with the finished floor provided by Allied Finishes. We were particularly pleased with the thorough nature of Troy's work (Operations Manager) ensuring every square metre of the floor was at the very highest level.
